Draft for review — not final launch terms. FileNeat’s operator, business address, contact email, legal jurisdiction and tax details have not been set. Selected test previews support email-link accounts, balances and Stripe sandbox purchases. No real payments are taken; live sales remain closed. This document must be completed and reviewed before paid sales begin.
1. Who operates FileNeat
FileNeat is the service name. Support and complaints: support@fileneat.com. The legal operator, business address, country of establishment, support and complaints email, and any company or VAT registration details will be shown here before launch. No business identity or jurisdiction is assumed in this draft.
2. What the service does
FileNeat provides the file conversions and CAD inspection tools described on its tool pages. Availability depends on the format, file size, installed processing components and current service limits. A preview or a successful file export does not certify accuracy or suitability for a particular use.
Conversions can change layout, typography, colours, formulas or metadata. OCR can misread text and numbers. CAD inspection reports geometry checks, not manufacturing approval. Check important content against your source and obtain appropriate professional review where needed.
3. Your files and permissions
You keep your rights in your files. You must have permission to upload and process them, including any personal data they contain. You give the operator only the permission needed to receive, process and return the files you request. This is not a transfer of ownership.
Do not use the service for unlawful content, infringement, malware, attempts to access another person’s data or deliberate disruption. Respect the published limits and do not bypass access or payment controls.
4. File handling
The current document service sends uploads to a processing server, where OCR runs locally. It does not send documents to an external AI provider. The application removes its temporary job workspace after success or failure. Browser previews and downloads can remain in your open page. There is no saved document history.
Hosting logs, backups and production retention have not been independently verified. The service does not currently promise zero retention or end-to-end encryption. Keep a source copy and save your output. See the privacy notice for the current scope and outstanding information.
5. Accounts and conversion packs
At launch, single conversions are intended to work without an account. Packs are intended to require sign-in. Email-link accounts and pack balances are implemented in payment-enabled test previews. Proposed, subject to legal review: one conversion is one input file converted to one output format; downloading the same result again is free. A credit is reserved when processing starts and used only when an output is produced; rejected or failed jobs return it. Pack credits last 12 months. If the service closes, unused credits are refunded in proportion to the price paid.
6. Prices and orders
Prices are shown in GBP. Selected previews offer sandbox purchases using test payment details; live purchases are not open. Before paid orders are accepted, checkout must show the exact service, total price including applicable taxes, payment method, supply arrangements and final terms. Optional extras must require your agreement. No subscription or automatic top-up is proposed.
Stripe-hosted Checkout is connected in payment-enabled test previews. Use only test payment details in the sandbox. An order confirmation and a copy of the applicable terms will need to be supplied in a form you can save. A payment-page redirect alone must not be treated as proof of payment.
7. Cancellation, failures and refunds
Your statutory rights are not removed by these terms. The final launch policy will explain cancellation rights and the treatment of any request to start processing immediately. That request must be explicit and separate from accepting these terms; any legally required acknowledgement must be given before supply begins.
The proposed policy is that rejected and failed conversion jobs do not consume a conversion. Problems with a completed output should have a documented support and remedy process. Read the draft cancellation and refunds policy. No blanket “no refunds” rule is proposed.
8. Availability and changes
The service can be interrupted for maintenance, faults or security reasons. Tool descriptions and limits should explain material restrictions before upload or purchase. Changes to future prices or features must not silently rewrite the terms of an existing paid order. The final terms must explain notice, account suspension and the handling of unused paid balances.
9. Responsibility and liability
The operator must meet legal duties that apply to the service, including any obligation to provide it with reasonable care and skill. Users should check outputs before relying on them. This review requirement does not remove the operator’s legal responsibility.
Nothing in the final terms should exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable. Any separate limits for business customers require legal review; none is invented in this draft.
10. Complaints and disputes
A working complaints contact, response process and operator address must be provided before launch. Applicable law and dispute-resolution wording will be set once the operator’s establishment and intended markets are confirmed, while preserving mandatory consumer protections.
